Relocation services built for Americans and Britons
Moving to Spain from the US or UK means navigating a visa system, a tax authority, and a bureaucracy that work nothing like the ones you know at home. Spain Relocation is an independent immigration and relocation consultancy that works exclusively with clients relocating to Spain from English-speaking countries, which means our team already understands the specific paperwork gaps — FBAR and FATCA questions for Americans, S1 forms and pension transfers for Britons, and the practical challenge of proving income or savings in dollars or pounds to a Spanish official who wants documents in euros and Spanish.
We handle the process end to end: visa and residence permit applications, tax identification numbers, tax residency and Beckham Law planning, company registration for entrepreneurs, and the practical services — bank accounts, housing, insurance — that turn a visa approval into an actual life in Spain.

Our NIE and residency came through weeks faster than friends who tried alone. They handled every appointment, every translation — we just showed up and signed.
As a freelancer moving from London, I needed someone who understood both HMRC and the Spanish tax system. They coordinated the whole Beckham Law application.
We registered our SL and opened a business account within six weeks of arriving. They managed the gestor and notary appointments for us.

Frequently asked questions
Is Spain Relocation a government agency or affiliated with the Spanish consulate?
No. Spain Relocation is an independent private consulting firm. We are not a government agency, embassy, or consulate, and we are not affiliated with the Spanish government or any Spanish public authority. See Who We Are for full details.
Which visa is right for a US or UK citizen moving to Spain?
It depends on your situation — remote employees typically look at the Digital Nomad Visa, retirees and those without Spanish income usually apply for the Non-Lucrative Visa, and founders may qualify for the Startup Visa. Try our Visa Eligibility Quiz for a quick starting point, or see Residence & Visas for a full comparison.
Do I need an NIE before I move to Spain?
Most visa and residence procedures, property purchases, and bank accounts require an NIE. We can start this process before or shortly after arrival — see Documents.
Will I still owe tax in the US or UK after moving to Spain?
US citizens remain subject to US filing requirements regardless of residence; UK citizens generally stop owing UK tax on foreign income once non-resident, subject to specific rules. Spanish tax residency has its own thresholds. See Tax Residency in Spain.
How much does the relocation process cost?
Costs vary by visa type and service scope. See our Pricing page for indicative figures or request a personalized quote.
How long does the visa process typically take?
Timelines vary by visa category and consulate workload, generally ranging from a few weeks to a few months. We provide a realistic timeline during your consultation.
